Fall Colors at Ingall's Lake

One of the best features of Seattle is the access both the mountains and the ocean.  Wendy, Jeanine, Matt and I enjoyed a Surf-N'-Turf weekend with kayaking yesterday and a day in the mountains this day.  Fall colors were out and the weather was perfect.

Mount Stuart nestled among golden larches.	Mount Stuart's summit would periodically reveal itself from the clouds.		Only part of the group... there were another four people that join us this day.

Views from Ingalls Pass.		Pika, or Rock Rabbit. These little chinchillas are currently being studied for Federal Protection due to their dwindling numbers brought on by global warming.
