Seattle Kayak

Rain was forecasted for Saturday with a better outlook on Sunday.   Matt, Wendy and I could not wait until then, so we set out with the kayaks for a tour of Seattle.  We experienced varying types of weather this day - from moments of sun, to drizzle, to complete downpour. We all developed a hearty constitution over the years and had a great day.  With a day in the mountains planned fro Sunday, this was to be a perfect Surf-N'-Turf weekend.

Clouds are thick, but we actually get a small break with the rain.	Approaching the Ballard Locks, we reach our turn-around point and start heading back.
Fall colors along the canal.	Back at Portage Bay, the heavens let loose a deluge.	On the waterfront, things never seem that bad...	Sun starts to come out...	Rainbow!
